This heavy duty high security lock box mounts on the inside of the Jeep JL tailgate providing ample secure storage for tools and other gear. The door folds down creating a work table for cooking or quick sorting and access of the lock box contents (Supports up to 40 lbs.). The Tailgate Lock Box comes equipped with 2 removable shelves for organization of smaller items. The entire Tuffy JL Tailgate Lock Box is constructed using welded steel heavy duty fasteners and is covered with a durable textured powder coat finish. The JL Tailgate Lock Box installs to the JL Tailgate Rail mounts using standard hand tools with or without an OEM hardtop. Featuring Tuffy’s Pry-Guard Locking System with a 10-tumbler double bitted security lock with built in weather seals. We engineered it to work seamlessly with the Tuffy JL Tailgate Enclosure to double down on your secure cargo storage options.
